Wamakersvallei offers three certificate courses that run for a period of eight (8) consecutive weeks and will start with a 2-week Basic Home Management Course. The first week will cover personal and spiritual development. Lectures take place at the centre Monday-Friday, 08:00-15:45.

Lectures are presented in Afrikaans three times a year and English once a year.

FRAIL CARE

A 6-week course aimed at preparing students for employment as frail care assistants within an institution, or as nurse-aids in a private home or in the community.

CHILD CARE

A 6-week course aimed at preparing students for employment as day care mothers, assistants at crèches and other pre-school centres, or as a housekeeper and child carer.

COOKING

This 10-day course consists of theory as well as practical modules. A recipe book is provided to assist students. No written examination is required.

SALON ASSISTANT

A 6-week course aimed at preparing students to work at a professional hair salon as hair salon assistant.
