This course will broaden the student’s knowledge regarding nutritional value, nutritious meals, the planning of meals and the compilation of healthy meals.

The students will have a thorough awareness how a healthy diet throughout life promotes a healthy body, supports normal growth, development and ageing, helps to maintain a healthy body weight, and reduces the risk of chronic disease leading to overall health and well-being.

Students will learn how to make informed food choices and the different ways of preparing healthy food.
